This course prepares job candidates to approach interviews with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of the full interview life cycle.
Participants will explore each stage of the process—from preparation and first impressions to post-interview follow-up—while gaining insight into how employers evaluate candidates using modern technology. The session covers effective pre-interview preparation, common interviewer questions, and the impact of professional image, behavior, and body language during interviews.
Participants will strengthen essential interviewing skills, including clear communication, active listening, managing anxiety, and responding thoughtfully to both traditional and behavioral interview questions. Special emphasis is placed on preparing compelling “tell me about a time when…” responses that highlight skills, competencies, and accomplishments using the STAR method. The course also addresses asking effective questions, closing the interview professionally, and following up appropriately. Drawing on the facilitator’s experience as a Certified Career Transition Coach, participants will learn practical tools to make a confident, credible, and lasting impression.
